What's and Coming
Additions
I am constantly adding to this site. Rather than wait until an entire
"book" is complete (which can be a long time) I post each chapter as
it is written. Links can be found in the Pictures
of God (thought for your day) area. When a large writing is complete I post the
MS Word 2000 version, so you can download the whole thing at once.
Current Featured Writing: A Treatise on
Cosmology. 2003
Many of the
virtual-members of the virtual TCOY have a lot to say, and I'm inviting them to
do so, above and beyond our discussion
group. If you have something burning on your heart that you want to
share with people, send me a copy & we'll talk.
By mid-February 2002 I responded to all the wonderful emails that regrettably
became backlogged. What astounded me was the common, recurring themes that
these emails dealt with. These issues are affecting people's lives, and
are issues they have wondered about for years. So, it seems that the most
rational approach to the next round of writing is to address these
questions. I will do so in the order of most requests to least.
For future reference...
- The Gospel According to Alice. My
annotated commentary on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and what we can
learn there.
- Mandelbrot, Chaos, and The Name of God.
Recent discoveries in science and mathematics have astounding and profound
relationships to the revelation of Yhwh's Name.
- God is Light. An examination of the
Biblical statements about God in the "light" of what science now
knows, centering around Einstein's theories of relativity.
- High Mass. A study in the symbolism and
importance of this ancient expression of worship.
- Music Recommendations. Those
offerings in our culture that have particularly touched me with their vision
of the Divine.
- A Christian Encounters the World's Religions.
There are countless surveys and overviews of the religions of the
world. My presentation will focus on what I personally have learned
about my own faith through other traditions.
- The Center of Mass
in the Eye of the Mandala. A comparison of Hinduism and Newtonian
physics, all mapped to a Christian perspective.
- Babel's Revenge. "The Tower had
been being built for longer than anyone could remember..." And
after Yhwh destroys it, those who built The Tower plot their revenge against
God. A novel.
- A Reexamination of Prayer. Who, really,
is praying to whom?
- A Guide for Stepparents. Something I
actually know something about.
- Self Mover. Looking at the Cosmic
Syllogism: Your soul is to your body as you are to your car.
